This document provides important information about the services you will receive at Green Heart Healing Space, including our approach to treatment, our business practices, fees, and other information relating to confidentiality.
NATURE OF SERVICES PROVIDED
Nature of Services
Our practitioner, Jade Hodgkin, is fully qualified for all Green Heart Healing Space services. She is registered with the Australian Natural Therapists’ Association, Reiki Australia and is a certified trainer member with the Institute for Intuitive Intelligence. Before commencing treatment, your practitioner will discuss their proposed treatment approach with you and ensure you understand and consent to the treatment plan before commencing.
Scope of Practice
Our practitioner, Jade Hodgkin, will only provide services within her professional capabilities, competence and role as a private provider of Massage Therapy, Intuitive Reiki, Teaching of Usui Reiki, Flower Essence Therapy and Intuitive Guidance and Energy Evaluation services. If treatment needs are identified outside of this scope, your practitioner will endeavour to assist you in identifying alternative suitable providers.
Service Type – Massage Therapy
I understand that Massage Therapists are not qualified to diagnose or treat illness or disease or to perform thrust manipulation. Massage does not take the place of medical treatment where needed. I know I will need to consult my doctor or medical practitioner if I have any doubts or questions. If I experience pain or discomfort during the treatment, I will immediately inform my therapist so that pressure/strokes/heat can be adjusted to my comfort level. I understand that Remedial Therapy involves deep soft-tissue work, and, depending on the severity of the problem, it is normal to feel some muscle soreness and tenderness within the days following the treatment.
Service Type – Reiki
I understand Reiki Practitioners are not qualified to diagnose or treat illness or disease. Reiki does not take the place of medical treatment where needed. I know I will need to consult my doctor or medical practitioner if I have any doubts or questions. I will immediately inform my practitioner if I experience pain or discomfort during the treatment. Reiki treatment may include the practitioner placing hands on or above my body. Hands may hover above but will not be placed on the breasts, genital area, or buttocks.
If receiving Reiki mentoring to support my Reiki training, I take full responsibility for my decision and do not hold Jade Hodgkin from Green Heart Healing Space responsible for this decision. I understand that the techniques and methods shared or used within these sessions are not to be used in place of traditional medical methods or as a substitute for medical advice, diagnosis or treatment, including but not limited to psychological therapies.
Service Type – Flower Essence Therapy
I agree that the information I have provided to the Flower Essence Practitioner is accurate and complete, and I further agree to provide notice of health changes at successive appointments. I understand that the Flower Essence Practitioner is not qualified to diagnose or treat illness or disease. Flower Essence Remedies do not take the place of medical treatment where needed. I know I will need to consult my doctor or medical practitioner if I have any doubts or questions.
Service Type – Intuitive Guidance and Energy Evaluation (in-person or online)
Jade Hodgkin is a certified Intuitive Intelligence Trainer (also known as an Intuitive Guide, authorised to use the methodology and praxis of Intuitive Intelligence®, including Intuitive Intelligence® Method and Intuitive Intelligence® Tapping) with the Institute for Intuitive Intelligence. As an Intuitive Intelligence Trainer, she is dedicated to assisting and supporting people in positively changing their lives by meeting and releasing subconscious fear programs in order to increase their innate intuitive intelligence.
The work of an Intuitive Intelligence Trainer is designed to meet the needs of women and men who are awake or awakening to the path of spiritual service and seeking metaphysical and transpersonal Guidance to scaffold their lives. You must be 18 years or older. If you have a known mental or physical health condition, you must be in the care of a medical health professional before you will be seen by your Intuitive Intelligence Trainer.
The advice and information offered in your session are based exclusively on the impressions and experiences of your Intuitive Intelligence Trainer. She makes no promises regarding the accuracy, relevance and quality of the information and the methods used in her work. She is not a medical or health practitioner. She offers her clients a spiritual, metaphysical and transpersonal perspective to aid them in their self-healing and self-empowerment. There are currently no known side effects or detrimental results when energy-oriented treatments are properly administered by a qualified, experienced practitioner. Because these methods are relatively new, the extent and breadth of their effectiveness, including benefits and risks, are not yet fully known. We encourage you to conduct your own research so you can make an informed decision before proceeding and to be honest with your Intuitive Intelligence Trainer if you have any concerns during your session.
As a Client, you understand that you should never use information provided by your Intuitive Intelligence Trainer in any way that contradicts, conflicts, or opposes a course of treatment or plan of action recommended by a primary professional provider such as your licensed medical doctor, lawyer or financial adviser. If you ever perceive or feel that information given by your Intuitive Intelligence Trainer opposes a primary professional provider’s treatment plan or recommendations, you are strongly advised to follow the advice and instructions of your primary professional provider. If you have any concerns or feel that you do not fully understand the implications of a particular course of action in your situation, you are advised to consult your primary professional adviser before taking action.
It is a condition of working with your Intuitive Intelligence Trainer that you exercise your own personal authority. Your choice to act on any of the information provided in the session is solely your responsibility. By signing this disclaimer, you confirm your understanding that your Intuitive Intelligence Trainer does not claim to heal or treat your physical, mental or psychological conditions. She offers education, physical modalities, health and spiritual guidance to allow people the opportunity to experience and access their optimal selves.
You must not be under the influence of alcohol or drugs when participating in the session, and you must disclose any mental health issues that may impact the ability of your Intuitive Intelligence Trainer to safely work metaphysically with you prior to the commencement of the session. This includes but is not limited to disclosure of any medical, psychological or personality disorders, such as schizophrenia, bipolar disorder or any other diagnosed psychological condition. You must be in a clear and balanced state of mind to participate in this work. The work of the Intuitive Intelligence Trainer is not counselling or therapy. It is not a medical technique and does not replace the need for medical care.
Your Intuitive Intelligence Trainer holds her own professional indemnity insurance and offers to work with you as an independent contractor. While the Institute for Intuitive Intelligence developed the Intuitive Intelligence Trainer tools, including the Intuitive Intelligence Method and Intuitive Intelligence Tapping, and has every faith in your Intuitive Intelligence Trainer’s abilities, the Institute for Intuitive Intelligence takes no responsibility and has no liability for the actions of individual Intuitive Intelligence Trainers. The information you provide as a Client is confidential and will not be disclosed to any third party at any stage unless required by law or for the specific purpose that is consented to below.
Service Type – Online Intuitive Guidance and Energy Evaluation
Intuitive Guidance and Energy Services offered online is done using Zoom, an online video conference platform. Upon booking this option, you will be sent details on where to join the online meeting at the scheduled time. You must have downloaded the software before the call to ensure your appointment time is not impacted. Appointments will not be extended to allow time for software installation if not done prior.
APPOINTMENTS AND FEES
Professional Fees
A current schedule of fees is available on our website and in our treatment room. All prices are listed in Australian dollars (AUD). You are responsible for paying at the time of your session unless prior arrangements have been made. Payment must be made by cash or card. Prices and treatments are subject to change without prior notice.
Online payments are accepted using Stripe and Square. A record of customer credit card details may be captured and stored in Stripe and Square.

Missed/Late/Cancelled Appointments
Providing at least 24 hours’ notice to cancel an appointment helps us to keep your session costs down, maximises our availability to clients and minimises lost clinical time. Any appointments missed or rescheduled with less than 6 hours notice will incur 50% of the total fee, which you must pay before your next scheduled appointment or within seven business days.
If you are late for an appointment, your session time may be less than the scheduled duration. Please note you will need to pay the total amount in these circumstances.
If you provide us with a mobile number or email address, a reminder text message will be sent 48 hours before your appointment. A reminder email will be sent 24 hours before your appointment. This is a courtesy reminder only. If you did not receive a reminder message and missed your appointment, you still need to pay the late/missed appointment fee. If ever in doubt, please telephone to confirm an appointment.
Rescheduling of Appointments by Practitioner
If Jade cannot attend the scheduled appointment, she will contact you to advise with as much notice as possible. If the circumstances prevent her from offering an opportunity to reschedule immediately, she will endeavour to rectify this as soon as possible, given the circumstances.
Frequency of Appointments
The number and frequency of appointments will be discussed with you by your practitioner. This will be based on their professional opinion once they have had an opportunity to understand your treatment needs and goals. In many circumstances, predicting a person’s response to treatment and the number of sessions they may require can be difficult. Your practitioner will discuss this with you before commencing treatment.
CONFIDENTIALITY, PRIVACY AND RECORD MANAGEMENT
Confidentiality and Privacy
Your treatment with Green Heart Healing Space is confidential and private. This means we will not disclose the information you provide to us to third parties unless you consent for us to do so. It is important to note that there are limits to confidentiality in exceptional circumstances, including when there is a risk to you or others or if we are responding to a subpoena or warrant. Your practitioner will discuss this with you during your first appointment and answer any questions you might have. More details can be found on our website’s privacy policy.
Health Record Management
We will create and keep a Health Record for you, which will record all relevant information relating to the treatment provided to you. We may also collect and store your health information from third parties, such as your doctor. Your health records are managed and protected under state and federal laws. Health records are legally required to be stored for several years following the conclusion of your treatment with us. You can also request access to a copy of your Health Record. Please discuss this with your practitioner should you wish to do this at any time.
Security and Privacy
The security and privacy of your data is our top priority. We manage all patient data through Power Diary, an ISO 27001-certified practice management system. This ensures that your data is protected by software that meets the highest global standards for information security management and complies with all applicable privacy regulations.
BOOKING AN APPOINTMENT
This agreement will be emailed to clients before their first appointment to sign and indicate that all information is read, understood and accepted.
REIKI COURSES
Booking a Reiki Course
As only a limited number of spaces are offered for each course date, a 40% non-refundable deposit is required to secure your spot in the course. Once a student registers their name for their selected Reiki training course in the booking system, the deposit will be collected via STRIPE. Following this, a welcome email and student intake form will be emailed to the student within 24 hours. An invoice with any remaining course fees will be emailed within 24 hours. The remaining balance is due seven days before course commencement.
Reiki Course Fees
You will be emailed an invoice once your student intake form is received. As only a limited number of spaces are offered for each course date, a 40% non-refundable deposit is required to secure your spot in the course. This deposit is payable on receipt of the invoice. Balance due seven days before course commencement.
Payment plans apply only to Reiki courses and are offered for your convenience only, so you can spread your payment out over time. You are still committed to paying the whole amount, even if you change your mind about your purchase, as you have had access to my intellectual property. It is your responsibility to ensure you have sufficient funds to make payment instalments on time. For Reiki courses, all payments on payment plans must be paid 7 days before the Reiki course start date. If your payment is more than 7 days overdue and you have not contacted me to make alternative arrangements, the payment plan will be cancelled, I will send you an invoice for the whole amount remaining, and my normal payment terms will apply to that invoice. If an invoice is more than 30 days overdue, you agree to pay all costs, including debt collection agency fees and solicitor’s costs, that I may incur in taking steps to recover any money that you owe to me, regardless of whether legal proceedings are issued in relation to the debt.
CANCELLATION/REFUND POLICY
The 40% deposit required to secure your place in the course is non-refundable.
If you cancel your booking before the course commences, the following terms apply:
Cancellations made eight or more days before commencement: You will be entitled to a refund for the total amount of all monies paid in excess of the non-refundable deposit.
Cancellations made between 48 hours and seven days before commencement: You will be entitled to a refund for 25% of the total course fee, where your course fee has been paid in full.
Cancellations made within 48 hours of commencement: You will be entitled to a refund for 10% of the total course fee, where your course fee has been paid in full.
If you have questions about this policy’s details, you should call Jade directly to discuss further.
Course fees are not transferrable to another course. Jade offers a limited number of courses each year and cannot guarantee future course dates or enrolment spaces.
RESCHEDULING OF COURSES BY REIKI MASTER/TEACHER
If Jade cannot attend the scheduled course day or a pre-booked follow-up session, she will contact you to advise with as much notice as possible. If the circumstances prevent her from offering an opportunity to reschedule immediately, she will endeavour to rectify this as soon as possible, given the circumstances.
