The Chakras & The Elements cards offer a grounded way to explore your chakra system, connect with your energy and listen to your own intuition. Rather than looking to the cards for answers, this deck invites you to slow down, notice what’s happening within you and become curious about what your own experience might be showing you.
Created by Reiki and Intuition Teacher Jade Hodgkin, with artwork by visionary artist Gemma Sykes, this unique chakra card deck brings together two systems:
- The Chakras — exploring the body’s energy centres.
- The Elements — drawing on qualities found in nature as a way to explore balance, connection and change.
You’ll explore the seven main chakras, along with the Earth Star and Soul Star chakras, each connected with a guiding element. Each card includes original artwork, a channelled reflection and a simple practice to help you explore the chakra through your body, energy and intuition.
For me, channelling these messages meant connecting energetically with each chakra and element, then allowing the words to come from a more intuitive, heart-led place rather than trying to think my way into what each card should say.

Whether you use the cards for a daily check-in, meditation, Reiki, energy healing or journalling, they offer a starting point for exploring what you notice. The card can offer a prompt or another perspective, while your own experience remains the guide.
How to use the cards
There’s no single right way to work with Chakras & the Elements. The cards are designed to help you slow down, notice what you’re drawn to and explore your chakras, energy and intuition through your own experience.
Choose a card intuitively.
You might shuffle the deck and draw a card, choose the one you feel drawn to, or intentionally select a chakra or element you’d like to explore.
Notice before you interpret.
Spend a moment with the artwork before reading the message. What catches your attention? Notice any sensations, emotions, thoughts or areas of your body that come into your awareness.
Get curious about what the card is inviting you to explore.
You might ask: What does this chakra bring to my attention? What qualities of this element am I drawn to explore? What am I already noticing that I might usually overlook?
Explore the message and practice.
Read the channelled reflection and suggested practice on the back of the card. Take what resonates, and allow it to add another perspective rather than looking to the card for a definitive answer.
Come back to your own experience.
You might journal, meditate, practise Reiki, spend some time in nature or sit with what you’ve noticed. Let the card be a doorway into deeper self-awareness while allowing your own experience to remain the guide.
