Essential oil is a physical extract of a flower or plant, whereas flower essences are a subtle energy extract. This means that flower essences capture the energetic imprint of a flower rather than its physical properties, making them unique in their healing capabilities.
Flower essences are produced by imprinting a flower’s unique vibrational healing signature onto a carrier solution. They offer a holistic healing approach and can treat imbalances at a higher level, bringing about emotional and spiritual balance and well-being in the whole person.
Essential oils are extracted from plants’ flowers, bark, sap and leaves and are aromatic/scented residues that work via the olfactory sense. You will easily smell an essential oil but not a flower essence.Ā
Flower essences are typically taken internally. You can take your flower remedy orally via a dropper bottle or a body mist. Essential oils are applied topically or inhaled and used for physical healing. For example, you can use them to help shift a cold or alleviate congestion. Taking a flower essence remedy will address underlying emotions or disharmony that can lead to disease in the physical body.
I use a combination of essences and oils in my life and my clinic. Mother Nature is amazing!
Try it at home by adding essential oils or flower essences to your bath water for the ultimate relaxation. Always use essential oils appropriate for your health conditions.
