Remedial Massage 

Our thinking minds may have moved on from the instigating stress, but often, the body has not. We can’t just tell ourselves to stop being stressed. We have to invite that stress to move. Working with the physical body is a great place to start if you’re not ready to shift stress on a deeper, energetic, or emotional level. 

Relaxation is still an integral part of receiving a remedial massage, and my speciality is inviting the feeling of flow into your massage. This includes the benefits of remedial techniques combined with long, relaxing strokes. By the end of the treatment, your body should move more freely while still feeling deeply relaxed as you leave to go about the rest of your day.

Remedial massage relieves and alleviates soft tissue and muscle dysfunction symptoms. I may incorporate trigger point therapy, myofascial release, and targeted stretching. Techniques and pressure used during each massage are adjusted to suit your comfort level to ensure you feel calm and relaxed throughout your treatment.
